BLONDE ON BLONDE - REFLECTIONS ON A LIFE
A truly excellent condition, rare and much sought after 1971 UK 1st press copy of this psychedeiic/progressive rock gem with gleaming vinyl and perfect sound quality

It still sends a tingle down my spine on the rare occasion when the stylus descends onto the dead wax run-in preceding track 1 of a 50 year old record and all I can hear is...silence! This is one of those records! Truly excellent plus (EX+) condition vinyl - weighty and completely flat with just a few very wispiest of wispy hairlines hairlines and extremely fine paper scuff marks on each side - each purely superficial, only really detectable with close scrutiny under a bright light and certainly nothing to impinge upon the wonderful STEREO sound quality. Again, excellent plus (EX+) labels - unmarked with not even the usual one or two faint spindle trails, and rest assured that the two very fine & spindly vertical crinkles on the side 2 label (see photo - but look closely to spot them!) are purely down to manufacturing The non-laminated outer gatefold sleeve remains in very good plus (VG+) condition at least. No cardboard creasing, just some very mild and occasional light scuffing on the bottom front side edge, a small "nick" above the second "E" towards the front-side top left corner (see photo) and just the hint of a little grubbiness/shelf wear on the spine and towards the edges on the reverse side. The corners remain nicely defined right angles with minimal rubbing, the inside of the gatefold is hard to fault, and the vibrancy, definition and clarity of the colours, art work, and photos remains nothing less than excellent. Superb excellent plus (EX+) STEREO audio quality with no skips, jumps, repeats, clicks, background interference or crackle at all. Great tone and clarity throughout even at higher volume and frequencies. Comes with original great condition poly-lined "PLASTIC BAGS CAN BE DANGEROUS" inner sleeve, correctly dated with no edge splits, tears or edge fraying - just some mild age discolouration towards the edges and some mild creasing in one corner. At last this album is receiving the recognition that it deserves...in my humble opinion a masterpiece - play it and love it!

Note that when packing I always separate the inner sleeve and vinyl from the outer sleeve to help prevent seam splits. I use thick cardboard stiffeners and take great care to ensure as far as possible that these precious records reach their destination in exactly the same condition as when they leave me.
