Description

It doesn't get much rarer! You are bidding for a set of two (2) records:

1. NEW YORK BLONDES (Blondie) - Little GTO (German Line LS 1009)7" Picture Sleeve Record) 1978 2:46. NEAR MINT

The B-Side is "Rodney & Brunettes - Holocaust on Sunset Blvd". Rodney of course is Rodney Bingenheimer, the king of LA's Sunset Strip that brought Punk Rock to the West Coast.

This 45 was licensed to Germany's Line by BOMP! Records

2. RODNEY & BRUNETTES - Little GTO (German Line DHLP 10007) 12" Promo Record in white sleeve 1978 2:46 NEAR MINT

No B-Side (it's actually a blank side). Ultra-rare German-only 12". I received this promo-only record from Klaus, the owner of Line Records in 1978. This was never for sale in stores.

Both records are TWO DIFFERENT VERSIONS of Little GTO. Record #1 has Blondie's vocals close and upfront. Records #2 has a "chorus" of 2 or more singers if you will, Blondie's vocals (if they are there) not distinguishable.

For the record collectors among you: The 7" Version of Little GTO sounds the same as the UK "New York Blondes...Madame X" Version of the single (London Records UK) from 1978 (pretty collectable I suspect) while the 12" Version of Little GTO sounds the same as the US BOMP! 45 from 1978.

Near Mint, played once only. "as new". Stored safely for 30 years.

Shipping USA: $4 Media Mail; Shipping International: $19 (shipping for each additional album only $5).
