Description
- Blondie released their third studio album "Parallel Lines" in September 1978 on Chrysalis Records. It was the band's commercial breakthrough hitting No. 1 in the U.K. and the top 10 in America. Hit singles include "One Way Or Another," "Heart Of Glass," and "Hanging On The Telephone." In March 1979 Chrysalis released this revised version which permanently replaced the original single version of "Heart Of Glass" with a 5:50 minute "Disco Version" of the song.
- This copy of (CHR 1192) is from the revised First Pressing of the album and is in excellent condition. The cover still has its original Factory Shrink Wrap largely attached and is in near mint condition as is the inner lyrics sleeve. Please see the pictures. The disc test plays cleanly and is easily VG+ which is as high as I go on vintage vinyl. It was mastered by Steve Hall at MCA Whitney Recording Studios in Glendale, Calif. and was pressed at the Columbia Records plant in Santa Maria, Calif. The Side One dead wax is stamped CHR-1192A-2B and etched S1 SX.
- In addition to its original packaging, this album will come with a high quality Anti-Static Round Bottom Inner Sleeve to hold the vinyl disc and a sturdy 3 mil. polyethylene Archival Quality Outer Sleeve.

- This vintage 12" vinyl album has been sitting upright on a shelf in climate controlled storage for the past 43 years. It has not been played in decades other than a quick test spin for this sale which found no skips or obvious flaws. Like all used records it should be cleaned and wiped with an anti-static brush to minimize the occasional pops that are part of playing vinyl albums. Buyers should note that this is a well-cared for but used record and it will have some minor imperfections.
