Description
Blonde On Blonde 2-LP - BOB DYLAN (Columbia C2L 41)
Original 1966 U.S. WHITE LABEL PROMO MONO 2-LP set. Like 'Pet Sounds,' no hype needed here. Original, WLP copy of BOB's second of many masterpieces, in glorious MONOPHONIC sound & in sweeeeet condition - oh, yeah! (As per description below, the cover has several MINOR flaws - emphasis on minor -, but nothing at all serious & it really is quite nice - check the pix to confirm.) Not very common as a promotional issue, I'm pretty certain. With promotional timing strips on the rear cover. Includes original record company inner plastic bags.
Discs = EX (glossy - a few very lite hairlines; side 1 of disc 2 visually grades EX- to EX, due to some long fingernail-like scuffs, NOT AFFECTING PLAY AT ALL; tiny 'pit' about halfway thru "Memphis Blues Again" causes lite pops for about 4 revolutions; both discs play VERY FINE, w/ NO distortion, just some lite background pops & ticks scattered here & there, and just barely the slightest hint of faint background noise, and that's only noticeable in between tracks; a WONDERFUL listen, oh mama)
Cover = see pix; slight wear in all corners; 2 diagonal cracks in front lower right corner; slight wear along front right edge; lite 2 1/2" vertical crack from front top edge; tiny chip on front (left of BOB's hair - see pic); lite creasing & wear on timing strips on back; small scuff mark on back; small crunch/diagonal creasing in back lower left corner; 3" diagonal crack from right spine edge on back; any questions?, please ask
Labels = see pix; a few faint spindle marks by center holes
