Description
PLEASE READ This is a curious pressing of this MONO / 2 EYE pressing of Highway 61. It has all of the markings of a true 1st press mono. • Thick US Cardboard sleeve with the number 7 at the bottom right corner • 1F Matrix variants
- Matrix / Runout (Side A [Variant 3]): XLP110638-1F N
- Matrix / Runout (Side B [Variant 3]): XLP110639-1F N
- • 360 Sound Labels
Curiously it has a NON DEEP GROOVE label, but instead it has a small ring... which to my knowledge doesn't exist on these early Columbia 360 sound labels. HOWEVER, I did find one site dedicated to early original pressings of this record (searchingforagem[dot]com) which did include early promo (red label) 360 sound mono labels with the small ring on it. The other curious marking on this is the pressing plant dead wax indicator is a "N" instead of the normal "P" etching. It seems to be a true OG pressing, maybe there's something I missed here, so please check the photos.
