Description
BOWLING GREEN KOSSOY SISTERS ERIK DARLING 1956 Mono LP EXC Vinyl Record TLP 1018
Offering a extremely clean EXC copy of The Kossoy Sisters' "Bowling Green and other Southern Mountain Folksongs" with Erik Darling on banjo and guitar. This 1956 Mono recording was released on Traditions Records label. A fabulous Americana collection of traditional Appalachian folksongs for your playlist and enjoyment.
Vinyl: EXC; Cover: EXC; Sleeve: VG+; Insert: NM. Please see description for details. We use Goldmine system to guide our grading.
• Vinyl EXC condition. Extremely clean and glossy. Center labels clean and vibrant. Observed a small handful of very faint spots, none of which could be felt with a soft clean fingertip. Audio clip available upon request if you have any concerns.
• Cover is EXC condition. This high gloss, plastic coated cover is very, very clean, with nearly no surface wear on front, very light surface spots on back mostly near opening and top edges. No folds, bends, creases or hand markings. Tiny lift of plastic on front near bottom corners but still intact. Small corner wear, minimal edge wear (mostly top corners and edge). ~1" split on top edge at opening. Images may show reflections in the plastic coating and are not necessarily flaws in the item itself. See photos for details.
• Sleeve is VG+ condition. Though not original, this fully intact, heavy duty translucent front, opaque back plastic sleeve is very clean. Small ripples and a corner fold, yet protects beautifully.
• Promo Insert is NM condition. Very clean, no folds, splits, bends, creases, holes or hand markings. This 1961 Tradition Records promo flyer was likely added by the previous owner.
See photos for details on all. Images may have a color cast slightly different than actual item, but are close.
Take away this fantastic, EXC copy of The Kossoy Sisters' "Bowling Green and other Southern Mountain Folksongs" with Erik Darling, for yourself or someone special. This will make a wonderful addition to any folk/country, Appalachian, Americana and 1950's collection. Thanks for looking. Happy Bidding!
