You are bidding on an original Mono, Self-Titled LP by Buddy Holly And The Crickets on Coral Records (CRL 57405). I believe it is a 1962 posthumous release.
Tracks include “That'll Be The Day”, “Oh Boy!", “Maybe Baby”, "I'm Lookin' For Someone To Love", "Not Fade Away" and much more!
NOTE:
The grades I use are Mint (rarely used grade), Mint Minus, VG+++ (rarely used grade), VG++, VG+, VG, VG Minus, Good+, Good, Fair and Poor.
The cover I would rate as VG+ condition. It has some wear on the front and less on the back. Spine is completely intact and there are NO SPLITS even starting! A really nice cover indeed!
The record’s condition I would rate as VG+ for Side 1 and VG to VG+ for Side 2. There is some distortion at the beginning of Side 2, but the rest is a nice, warm listen. Label is the larger, maroon colored one that Coral had in the early 60's. The smaller one was in the late 50's. This is an original posthumous release from 1962, which is when it came out. Comes with a custom Coral Records inner sleeve (see photo). Matrix numbers (or Dead Wax numbers) are MG6036T7 for Side 1 and MG6037T5 for Side 2.
Makes a great gift for any Buddy Holly or LP fan!
