You are bidding on a rare, original Mono LP by The Crickets, featuring Buddy Holly, called "The Chirping Crickets" on Brunswick Records.
This is one of the first LP's put out by the legendary Rocker, Buddy Holly. It is also the version where the cover is textured and Holly is listed as hailing from "Bullock, Texas" instead of Lubbock.

NOTE:
The grades I use are Mint (rarely used grade), Mint Minus, VG+++ (rarely used grade), VG++, VG+, VG, VG Minus, Good+, Good, Fair and Poor.
The cover I would rate as Good+ Condition to VG Minus. Center of top has a 1 1/2-inch split and center of bottom has a split that is almost 4-inches. Front, top near opening has a 1-inch split and the bottom near opening has a 1/2-inch split. Spine is miraculously intact with some wear on the very top. Some minor wrinkling and some wear on front and back, but picture on front still looks great! Back, bottom-right has the initials "LH" written in what appears to be black marker. Still a good strong cover to have and appreciate!
Now, the record’s condition is Poor to Fair for Side 1 and Good to Good+ for Side 2. Side 1 would be about the same as Side 2, but there is this deep scratch that starts by the matrix as one thick, then spreads into 3 deep scratches (2 go all the way across and 1 only goes across the last 2 1/2 songs). Shame I know, but they play right through and never skip on my player, honest (note I said my player). Of course it makes noise, along with the other surface and smaller deep scratches too. And believe it or not, the fidelity is still there. Thankfully the rest of the record also doesn't skip on my player. Comes with a regular white inner sleeve. You could probably replace the record, but I don't do that. This is the record that was in the cover when I got it. Matrix numbers (or Dead Wax numbers) are MG6036T2, 1p for Side 1 and MG6037T1 for Side 2.
Makes a great gift for any Buddy Holly or LP fan!
There is an obvious LOW RESERVE for this album!
