Here is a unique 45 by a group that called themselves The Laughing Gravy: "Vegetables" /  Falling on Laughing Gravy's Whiskers" (White Whale 261). Released in 1967. Label credits the song to Brian Wilson and Van Dyke Parks and notes SONG FROM THE ALBUM "SMILEY SMILE." The Laughing Gravy is actually Dean Torrence from Jan & Dean, plus a few other friends. This is, I believe, a slightly different mix than the version that was issued in 1972 as United Artists 50859. That version features American Spring and Brian Wilson as backup vocalists. Promo copies have LG + BW etched in the outer groove, referring obviously to Laughing Gravy and Brian Wilson of the Beach Boys, which may suggest that Brian was involved in this production somehow.
