READ THIS! These records are NOT sold for perfect sound quality. They’re sold for their scarcity and VISUAL grading. They’ve been in storage for a decade, and they WILL play with surface noise that can be addressed with D4 or a VPI cleaning.  I can’t test-play at the minute. Please don’t bid if this is a problem for you.

So with that said…

Beatles 1966 LP Revolver Consigned Hybrid STEREO 1st Pressing in Torn Shrink, EX!

Stereo consignment pressings are very hard to find, since most consignment pressings were pressed in MONO.  Predominantly Los Angeles parts, this is an RCA pressing.

Vinyl--- EX/EX.  VERY close to a NM disc.  In fact, some would grade it NM, but there are a few slight hairlines that are hard to see.  Each side has hairlines in the dead wax as well if you count those.

Plates--- A13/B16.  Definitely first pressing plates.  Machine-stamped asterisk in the dead wax makes this copy pressed in Los Angeles.

Cover--- EX.  Incredibly beautiful cover with 95% white areas and bold black areas.  Price code sticker still affixed to the front cover.  Very slight yellowing.  All seams and spine are muscular-strong, NO SPLIT SEAMS.

**Shrink has a wide split on the back cover.

Breathe Holes--- There is one breathe hole on the back cover, just above George’s arm.  Holy George and the Breathe Holes.  Band name.

Labels--- NM/NM.  Beautiful, 1966-looking brand new.

**Thick trench concentric ring closer to the outer edge belongs to RCA lathes.

**First pressing labels only used John’s and Paul’s surnames, but George’s whole name in the songwriting credits.

**These labels were provided to RCA by the Los Angeles plant.

Capitol Inner Sleeve--- VG.  Has a drill hole in the upper corner and one side seam is split about an inch.

Please Note:  This yellow Capitol inner sleeve is a replacement.  When I bought this copy, it contained an inner sleeve from Liberty Records, which is of course, improper for this LP.

A generic inner sleeve will be provided, so as not to damage your original Capitol inner sleeve en route.

RIAA: 6. This cover was provided by the Los Angeles plant to RCA.

This will make a great Christmas gift for your Beatles collector this year.  Stereo-consigned copies of Beatles albums are VERY hard to find in nice condition!

As these records have been in storage for many years, they will play back with crackling and tics, however; a good moisturizing and cleaning with either D4 Discwasher or a VPI machine always clears them up.  Thanks!)

Note:  All LP’s ship outside of their album covers in order not to damage the covers during shipment.

CAUTION!  There has been a startling increase in bidders canceling their bids.  A word to the wise, I have started blocking any and all bidders who retract their bids regardless of the reason.

Please don’t bid unless you’re willing to honor your amount, okay? Thanks!

(Please note:  Regarding play-testing, my Technics turntable has somehow seized.  The tone arm is stuck in the up position, and I can’t get it to fully return to its cradle.  Is there anyone out there, who can tell me if this is an easy fix?  Thanks!)
