1964 UK 1st **MONO** PRESSING LP
**NEAR MINT**
This near mint 1964 first mono pressing is on the UK black & yellow Parlophone label: PMC 1230
Both labels carry the 'Sold in UK..' text and 'Parlophone Co Ltd...' rims.
The label features the 'chubby' label font found only on initial first pressings.
The 'KT' tax/price code is visible on the centre of the side 1 label.
Housed in a front laminated, 'flipback' Garrod & Lofthouse cover.
Complete with its original lined 'Use Emitex' inner-sleeve.
Matrix numbers: XEX 481-3N & XEX 482-3N
Stamper numbers: 4/GMP & 5/GRL
Cover: NEAR MINT
This wonderful cover appears 'as new' with a high gloss unscratched front laminate bearing no creasing to the front panel.
There are 2 light wrinkles to the spine and slight bruising to the left corners, but the right corners and opening edge are perfect - clean, sharp and unworn.
The rear panel is perfect with no discolouration, marks or writing.
All flipbacks, seams and the spine are in perfect condition.
Hard to find better.

The surfaces are pristine and glossy with just one tiny (50mm), non-audible/non-feelable line on side 2. Otherwise it is 'as new'.
Unquestionably 100% flat on the turntable without dishing or warping.
Audio: EXCELLENT
Superb sound quality with everything loud, warm and clear and with both run-ins and all bands play completely silently.
I detected just a touch of wear on 'I'll Be Back' but no other audible faults - no crackle, hiss, clicks, pops, jumps or repeats.
