Description
Beatles Apple Corps 10 inch, one-sided, acetate of the Beatles penultimate 1969 single Ballad of John and Yoko. Bought at auction from Fleetwood Owen auctioneers on 17/10/2000, the same auction John Lennon’s piano was sold to George Michael for over a million pounds. The vinyl has very few scratches, and lots and lots of lovely shine. Would grade as EX/EX-. Vinyl condition virtually unheard of for an acetate. Have played it through. Sounds fine, with some clicks and usual hiss. The bass is very distinctive, more so than on the original single. See my other Beatles acetates.
