Description
These 4 Beatles discs offer an assortment of rare recordings.
-- Beatles Picture Disc: So Much Younger Then: Beatles at the BEEB, Sides 3 & 4. Includes many songs recorded by the Fabs only for BBC Radio programs, such as “Pop Go The Beatles”, in their early years. Many of these songs were never recorded by the Beatles for release. The record is taken from the radio special “The Beatles At The BEEB.” Record is mint, but has the usual surface noise associated with picture discs; still in its original plastic sleeve.
-- George Harrison: Limited edition U.K. only “Got My Mind Set On You” – This 12-inch picture disc single includes an extended version and the single version of the song, plus “Lay His Head”, one of the songs dropped from Harrison’s original Somewhere In England album. Record is mint, with usual surface noise associated with picture discs; still in original plastic sleeve with sticker.
-- George Harrison-Traveling Wilburys: “Wilbury Twist” – From the supergroup’s second LP, this 12-inch includes “Wilbury Twist”, an instrumental version of “New Blue Moon”, and “Cool Dry Place”. Record and picture sleeve are mint; still in original re-sealable protective plastic cover.
-- Paul McCartney: Special U.K. only 45 rpm, 10-inch single contains “Press”, from Paul’s 1986 Press To Play album (4:20 version and 3:35 video edit), and “It’s Not True” (5:50), released as a bonus track on the CD edition of the album. This record comes in a unique fold-out cover; there is a slight scuff on the picture of McCartney that is inside. Record is mint and the fold-out cover is EX++ except for the scuff mark.
