CONDITION
Disc
Labels: EXCELLENT +
A clean & unworn set with just a small handful of light, well-aimed spindle trails around each unworn centre hole.
Visual: EXCELLENT +
Exceptionally clean, deep-gloss playing surfaces which apart from a single light 1cm scuff marks on side 2, are unmarked. Closer examination directly beneath my unforgiving halogen desk lamp reveals nothing more than some harmless wispy paper hairlines consistent with the few times this disc has been removed from its inner, together with a sparkling rainbow shine. Both sides of this high-quality heavy pressing lie 100% flat on the turntable when playing.
Sound Quality: EXCELLENT +
This fine sounding copy was one of the earliest pressed. It has received minimal careful play and is without any significant deterioration to the sound quality or any major faults. My single careful play-check at volume detected a touch light background on 'No Reply' but no trace of any groove/playwear distortion on any track or in either channel. The entire album is free from any ticks, clicks, jumps or indeed any other audible distraction of any description and will not disappoint.
Cover: EXCELLENT +
A highly respectable example of this extremely fragile cover has been carefully stored in a clean, non-smoking environment all its life and retains an unscratched & unworn high-gloss laminate all round.
The delicate front leaf bears just a single small 'thumbnail' wrinkle but no other creasing or signs of wear. All of its exposed leading edges are sharp and unworn with no tears or feathering to any.
The rear panel is just as fine as the front with no heavy disc impression or other traces of wear.
All corners are in great shape with no heavy bumps or bruising anywhere.
The inside of the gatefold is totally unworn and is clean & white where it should be, with no yellowing, writing or missing paper.
The spine is clean & uncrushed with perfectly text and no splits or tears any either end.
Inner-sleeve: EXCELLENT
Crisp & uncreased with light storage marks but no writing, tears or seam splits.
