1964 UK 1st *STEREO* PRESSING LP
On the black & yellow Parlophone label: PCS 3062
Both labels carry the 'Sold in UK..' text & have 'Parlophone Co. Ltd..'' rims
The 'KT' tax/price code is visible in the centre of the side 1 label.
Housed in an outer laminated, inner-flipback stereo cover.
Complete with its original 'Patents Applied For' inner-sleeve (indicating that this copy way purchased in 1966).

Both surfaces of this rare LP are clean, bright and glossy displaying just three light paper scuffs on side 1 from inner-sleeve removal and a single very light 1cm hairlines scratch on side 2. Apart from these small blemishes, there are no other marks or wear visible in strong dayight. Close inspection directly beneath my halogen desk lamp reveals some wispy paper hairlines but no other significant or any major faults. Both sides lie 100% flat on the turntable with no signs of dishing or warping.
Play: EXCELLENT
Easily their best sounding early stereo LP with a real 'breath of life' to the mix. This fine copy has received only careful play on top quality equipment and sounds clean& clear throughout with no groovewear distortion or background noise. In fact, apart from a few light ticks during a short section of 'I'll Follow The Sun', I detected no significant or major traces of audible wear.
Cover
EXCELLENT -
A clean and firm example of this fragile cover with a clean & glossy front leaf which apart from some light egdewear displays no major faults. The inside is clean and bright with just some inevitable toning to the edges of the left panel, but no writing, missing paper or tears to the easily damaged centre hinges. The rear panel is also clean & glossy but does have a 2cm tear to the lower right corner. However, both seams are undamaged and the spine is clean, white and unsquashed with a full any undamaged text.
Inner-sleeve
VERY GOOD
Some age-toning and light creasing but no splits or tears.

- Unless stated, all records lie 100% flat & play without distortion, jumps or sticks. All sleeves/covers have no writing, splits or tears.
