This superb UK 1st STEREO pressing dates from initial December 1964 release on the yellow & black Parlophone label: PCS 3062
Both labels include the 'Sold in UK...' text with 'The Parlophone Co. Ltd...' worded rims
The 'KT' purchase tax code is visible in the centre of the side 1 label
Matrix numbers: YEX 142-1 & YEX 143-1
Stamper codes: 3/AG & 2/MO

Housed in an outer laminated gatefold cover with the darker rear panel & original rice-paper lined 'Use Emitex...' inner-sleeve

A clean & bright pair showing a small number of light, well-aimed spindle trails around each centre hole.
Visual: EXCELLENT
Perfectly clean deep-gloss playing surfaces which apart from a single light fingernail scuff line on side 1 are unmarked in strong daylight. Closer inspection directly beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp reveal some harmless wispy paper hairlines consistent with inner-sleeve removal, but no other significant marks or wear.
Sound Quality: NEAR MINT
Easily the best sounding of their early stereo albums, this carefully played, well looked-after copy sounds flawless throughout. My single careful play-check at volume found absolutely no trace of any groove/playwear distortion, background interference or even a single click or tick. I guarantee you will not be disappointed with the impressive sound quality of this copy with that all important 'breath of life'.
Cover: EXCELLENT
A respectable example of this extremely fragile cover has been stored in a clean, non-smoking environment and retains a clean & undamaged high-gloss laminate all round.
The delicate front leaf bears just a single wrinkle running down the side of Paul's face, but no other significant wear. There is a touch of wear to the exposed edges of the delicate front leaf with a single tiny 'nick' to the right edge.
The rear panel is just as fine as the front with nothing more than a light disc impression from storage. All corners are in nice shape with no heavy bumps, bruising or tear to any.
The inside of the gatefold is unworn and free from any, writing or missing paper
The spine is clean & perfectly worded with no splits or tears to either end
Inner-sleeve: EXCELLENT
Flat & uncreased with light storage marking, but no writing, tears or seam splits
