THE BEATLES - 'BEATLES FOR SALE'
This scarce variant dates from 1968 and is a UK 2nd STEREO pressing on the yellow & black Parlophone label: PCS 3062
The error occurs on the side 1 label where 'I'm A Loser' is misspelt as 'I'm A Losser'
Both labels include the 'Sold in UK...' text & 'Gramophone Co..' rims.
There is no purchase tax code in the centre of either label.

Housed within an outer laminated, inner-flipback uncredited 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed cover with an outline 'stereo' front indicator.
Complete with its original red & white EMI advertising inner-sleeve.

Labels: NEAR MINT
The side 1 label is MINT and unmarked and the side 2 label bears just three faint spindle trails around its unworn centre hole.
Visual: EXCELLENT +
Pristine deep-gloss playing surface which are just short of NEAR MINT due tor some harmless inner-sleeve storage marks. Both are otherwise completely unmarked and free from any scratches or surface marks from use - even directly beneath my unforgiving halogen desk lamp. Both sides of this rare disc lie 100% flat on the turntable when playing.
Sound Quality: NEAR MINT
This wonderful sounding copy has clearly been barely played and retains all of the clarity, warmth and depth of sound quality expected of this pressing. Each track plays flawlessly with no trace of groove/playwear in either channels. In fact, apart from two light ticks on the final chord of 'Eight Days A Week' there is nothing to fault audibly and it is guaranteed not to disappoint.
Cover: VERY GOOD
A respectable example of this delicate cover which retains a clean high-gloss front leaf with a few light handling wrinkles but no major faults.
The inside of the gatefold is clean & black where it should be with no yellowing or discolouration to the white areas or any damage or wear to the flipovers on the right-hand panel. The rear panel is just as clean as the front but has some laminate lifting along the spine and a small missing piece of it in the lower right corner.
There is a 1.5cm split to the lower edge of the centre hinge but all seams and the fully worded spine are clean & unworn.
Inner-sleeve: NEAR MINT
Perfectly clean & flat with no creasing, seam splits or writing.
