This is the UK Original of 'Beatles For Sale' by The Beatles. This early press is on the Yellow & Black Parlophone label and has 'Parlophone Co Ltd' rim text and 'Sold In UK,' and 'Recording First Published' label text. It has the early 3N/4N matrix and the very earliest 1/1 Mothers. The record is complete with the original Emitex inner sleeve and the gatefold laminated flipback outline 'mono' sleeve.
The vinyl is in Excellent condition. The vinyl on each side has a sensational high gloss, with no whitening of the grooves at all. There are just a couple of very light wispy marks. It lies completely flat on the turntable. When played the sound is exceptionally warm, rich and vibrant. The Yellow and Black Parlophone label has bold black, bright yellow text and sharp, unworn silver text. There is the very slightest spindle wear. It comes complete with the original Emitex inner sleeve.
The laminated gatefold, flipback sleeve is in Excellent condition. The colours are exceptionally bold, the laminate has a wonderful polished shine and the text is sharp. The inside is extremely clean with bold black and crisp white text. The box style spine is exceptionally firm and the sleeve is still very solid.
