THE BEATLES - 'IF I FELL'/'TELL ME WHY'
UK 1964 *EXPORT* PRESSING 45
Extremely hard to find in this format, this 1964 UK pressed EXPORT 45 is on the black & silver Parlophone label: DP 562
Unlike most copies, this example includes the 'Sold in UK.. text on both labels
Both also carry upper-case 'Parlophone Co. Ltd.' rims.
An impression of the 'KT' purchase tax code is present in the centre of the 'If I Fell' label & in both run-outs.
Housed in its original green & white Parlophone company cover.
Matrix numbers: 7XCE 17756-1N & 7XCE 17757-1N

A bright & clean set with a few light scuffs on the 'If I Fell' label together with some light spindle marks around each unworn centre hole.
Visual: EXCELLENT +
Perfectly clean & deep-gloss surfaces which display no surface marks or wear in strong daylight and just a few barely visible wispy marks directly beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp. Both sides of this rare copy lie 100% flat on the turntable when playing.
Play: EXCELLENT +
Outstanding & superior fidelity from both of these tracks on this 45rpm single which have clearly received very little play. The sound on both tracks is perfectly clean, clear and unworn with no traces of any groove/play wear or background noise - even on the delicate introduction to 'If I Fell. Tough to find another, in any condition.

Clean & flat with just a few light storage creases but no writing, tears or seam splits.
