Beatles LP Beatles VI WEIRD HYBRID and Error with The Lettermen Label on Side 2
This strange copy has a second variation 1967 label on side 1. The track, “Words of Love” is credited to BMI, whereas earlier copies credited the song to ASCAP. Side 2 has the error Side 2 label from, “Put Your Head on My Shoulder” by The Letterman. This label style is the 1969 issue with the additional “A subsidiary of Capitol Industries,” with the tiny Capitol logo at the five o’clock position on the label.
Oddly enough, The Letterman did a version of "Hey Jude" according to the label. Heh.
Vinyl--- VG+, both sides. A few light hairlines under a bare bulb.
Plates--- B1/A1
Cover--- Structurally solid. Front cover has light ringwear, light to moderate dirtwear. Back cover is more noticeable, because it has a black and white cover. Top and bottom seams are fully intact, although the bottom seam has a small amount of slick loss due to shelfwear. Spine is 99% intact. Has about one inch of slick loss toward the top, but not split.
Capitol Inner Sleeve--- Non die-cut (no hole) white sleeve, which were the ones that Capitol switched to in 1968. Bottom and one side seam are split about an inch or a little more in their centers. Easy enough to replace if you want.

As these records have been in storage for many years, they will play back with crackling and tics, however; a good moisturizing and cleaning with either D4 Discwasher or a VPI machine always clears them up.
