Beatles LP First LA Pressing MONO Meet the Beatles Beautiful
Vinyl--- Very strong VG+. It’s so close to a new-looking VG++ until you see it under a bare bulb. VERY nice piece of vinyl. This LA pressing is from 1963. You can tell by the asterisk style. Whereas the more familiar style is the machine-stamped asterisk which is relatively small, this plate employs the older, previous asterisk, which is very wide. This is an early one, for sure.
Plates--- F11/G10
Cover--- Although not in the shrink, this is a very respectable cover. All the seams are muscular and solid, no splits, no intention of splitting. Top and bottom right corners are slightly crunched. Back cover is lightly yellowed, lightly dirty. There’s a name written on the back cover. See photos. Very structurally solid, though.
Labels--- NM, no spindle marks, full shine, no edge wear.
Capitol Inner Sleeve--- Royal blue Capitol original inner sleeve is present. Thumb tab at the top of one side designates it from LA. There’s a half-inch tear to the top of one side, center and a one-inch seam split to the center bottom seam.

As these records have been in storage for many years, they will play back with crackling and tics, however; a good moisturizing and cleaning with either D4 Discwasher or a VPI machine always clears them up.
