Description
Offered is "Meet The Beatles" on the Capitol label, ST-2047.
This is the very scarce West Coast #6 STEREO issue released January 20, 1964.
This is the second label variation having one BMI credit printed on the Side 1 label. The remainder of the album lists ASCAP credits.
Also, because 80% of Capitol's albums were pressed on the East Coast, the West Coast pressings of the first three label variations are far more scarce!
Add to that the fact that the first label variation of this historic album was only produced on the East Coast (Scranton), the second label (one BMI) produced on the West Coast is therefore the very first pressing of this LP!!
This record has been fully play graded and the sound quality has been found to be VG++. The surface has some superficial scratches and scuffs that do not affect the great Stereo sound quality!
The West Coast labels are a solid VG++.
The #6 L.A. cover is a strong VG, with some a 3" split to top seam.
