Description
THE BEATLES - 'LADY MADONNA'/'THE INNER LIGHT'
UK 1968 PRESSING 45 & INSERT
This copy appears at first glance to be a 1968 1st pressing. However close inspection shows that is more likely dates from 1969.
The indicators for this are a faint ring around the centre hole & and more 'knife edge' finish to the rim of the disc.
Both labels (R 5675) are the black & silver Parlophone type with the 'Sold in UK... text & 'The Gramophone Co. Ltd...' rim texts.
There is no purchase tax code is visible in the centre of either label but 'KT' is present in both run-outs.
Housed in an original green & white 'swirl' Parlophone company cover.
This copy also comes with an original Fan Club insert.

A fine unworn & unblemished set with two small spindle trails to the side 1 centre hole only.
Visual: EXCELLENT +
Clean & bright playing surfaces which apart from a little dulling to the surface are free from any scuffs or scratches in strong daylight AND directly beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp.
Play: NEAR MINT
Played no more than once or twice, the sound throughout both tracks is unworn and without fault.
Insert
EXCELLENT +
Clean & white with just light disc impression from storage with the disc. The perforation is fully intact.
Cover
EXCELLENT
Light storagewear but no significant or major wear.
