Beatles “Let it Be” Boxed Set

Apple PCS 7096, UK, 1970

Matrix nos: YEX 773-2U / YEX 774-3U

Vinyl: EX, based on the sound quality. Just the slightest faint surface noise between tracks. Visually there are light paper scoffs. The sound is bright and clear, with no scratches, pops, clicks or jumps.

Cover: VG-, Garrard & Lofthouse, fully laminated. Green Apple logo on the back. Ringwear and light creases on both sides, and light marks on the laminate. There is a tiny tear to the laminate on the back and a little bumping of the corners. The writing on the spine is clearly visible.

Inner Sleeve: VG, Original plain white with “Made in Great Britain” on the bottom right and Patent Nos. on the left.

Labels: EX-, A couple of tiny spots of discolouration.

Book: VG, Light wear to both sides of the front and back covers and the two plain black inside pages. There is a light crease running through some of the centre pages. This has never been fully opened so the spine is good, with no creasing and there are no detached or loose pages. The corners are all good.

Inner Tray: New replacement.

Outer tray: New replacement.

Slip Case: G, General wear and creases on both sides and the edges. There are many marks, the corners are worn and one has a 1cm. split.

NB Due to disability I can usually only get to a post office once a week, however I will endeavour to post this as soon as possible.

This will be posted within the UK by Special Delivery at the cost of £10.00. It will be carefully packed to protect the contents. Please ask for overseas postal costs.

A brief introduction. I have been selling unwanted possessions on ebay for some years now. I'm now starting to list part of my record collection which goes back to the early 60s. There will be a variety of genres and rarities such as 1st. pressings of "Up for the Down Stroke", "Let it Be" and "Threads of Life" to be listed in the coming months.

All records will be graded using the Record Collector guidelines (see below). If in doubt I will err on the side of caution. Every record will be play graded after being cleaned on a Clearaudio Smart Matrix record cleaning machine. You will not find expressions such as "Wow" "Best you'll ever see" or "Amazing" in my listings. I am proud of my 100% feedback and hope that will remain the case…customer satisfaction is paramount to me. I offer a 7 day return policy if the item is damaged or not as described. Record Collector Rare Price Guide - Grading System

(M) MINT: -

The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. 

The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. 

Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

(EX) EXCELLENT: -

The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. 

The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

(VG) VERY GOOD: -

The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. 

Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

(G) GOOD: -

The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. 

The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.

(F) FAIR: -

The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump.

The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

(P) POOR: -

The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. 

The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

(B) BAD: -

The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.
