CONDITION

Slipcase
: NEAR MINT

Incredibly difficult to find in anything approaching this condition, this truly immaculate example has been carefully stored and barely touched during since purchase and is truly in the same condition as it left the shops 41 years ago.

The front panel is perfectly clean & glossy with no scratching or storage rubbing to any part. The only sign of wear is a faint 6cm wrinkle just above the lower edge which is more a result of storage rather than wear.

All of the exposed edges remain razor-sharp and completely unworn with no 'pushes', tears or feathering to any.

The rear is immaculate with no traces of any storage or wear anywhere. There is a little laminate loss to the upper edge but this is barely noticeable and the lower edge is completely free of wear. You will not find a better example.

Outer Tray: NEAR MINT

One of the most easily and frequently worn components is present here in near perfect condition. Both of the fold-over flaps are unrubbed and uncreased and even the exposed outer edges are completely free of the usual rubbing along the edges. The only trace of wear anywhere is a little 'squash' on one side as the tray was pinched as it was being pulled out.

Inner Tray: MINT

A perfect 'as new' example of this most fragile component which has survived fully intact and completely undamaged. Each vunerable corner is fully intact and all edges and flap are unworn and undamaged. Please noe that this is NOT a reproduction piece but a 100% original component, as are all of the other in this lot.

Book: MINT

A perfect 'factory-fresh' unread example of this lavish publication, with no wear to front or rear cover and no loose or missing pages inside.

Disc

Labels: NEAR MINT

An outstanding set with just a single tiny spindle trail around the side 2 centre hole but none on side 1.

Visual: NEAR MINT

Pristine deep-gloss playing surface which retain all of their 'as new' deep-gloss shines. Apart from a single faint hairline and a barely visible turntable scuff mark on side 2, both are unmarked both in strong daylight AND directly beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp.

Audio: NEAR MINT

Played only once or twice at most, the sound throughout is warn and unworn with the only distraction being a touch of background on 'The Long & Winding Road'.

Cover: NEAR MINT

A superb clean & unworn example which retains an immaculate, unworn high-gloss laminate all-round which is free from any creasing or scratching.

The only trace of wear is a small 'thumbnail' wrinkle to the spine but all corners and both opening edges are completely unworn and razor sharp. Naturally both seams are perfectly smooth and unstressed.

The rear panel is unworn and both seams and the spine are smooth, unstressed and undamaged.

Inner-sleeve: EXCELLENT +

Crisp & white with the inevitable light disc impression and a few light wrinkles, but no writing, tears or seam splits.
