'LOVE ME DO'/'P.S. I LOVE YOU'
On the original red & silver Parlophone label: 45-R 4949
N.B. This is NOT the 1982 reissue.
Both labels OMIT the 'Made in Gt. Britain' text.
'Ardmore & Beechwood' publishing credits are present for both titles.
The variation occurs on the 'P.S. I Love You' label which omits the closed bracket on the songwriting credit.
A 'PT' tax/price code is embossed around the centre-hole of the 'P.S. I Love You' label and 'PZT' is present in both run-outs.
Housed in an original coloured 'beach striped' Parlophone company cover.
Also included with this copy is an original MINT & unused 1960's colourful record store paper bag.

CONDITION
Labels: VERY GOOD +
Both are clean & intact but someone has unwisely covered up some writing with red paint in the centre of label 1 and to a smaller area on label 2.
Visual: VERY GOOD
Both surfaces are clean & generally bright, displaying general light surface marking consistent with frequent handling & play. However, there are no heavy looking marks or any deep/feelable scratches to either side.
Audio: GOOD
This copy has been played many times and some light background can be heard throughout. However, there are no clicks, jumps, repeats or any other major audible faults to either side.
Cover: VERY GOOD -
General handling & storagewearand with catalogue number written in one corner but no tears or splits.
- Strict & grading under strong daylight & directly beneath a halogen desk lamp to UK 'RECORD COLLECTOR' standards.
- I carefully play every record I sell on a $5,000 Rega P9 turntable at volume and list all visual and audible faults.
- All the photos in this listing have been taken by myself and are of the actual items for sale.
- All records are professionally & securely in custom-made record mailing boxes with the disc removed from the cover.
