Beatles: Magical Mystery Tour, LP, Capitol Records 1968, SMAL 2835 on cover and label, ST(etched over) SMAL-2-2835-A9 2 o etched in runout
Album is flat and plays without skipping. There are several light scratches on both sides. Side 1 has more smudges than side 2. It also has one spot at the beginning of song 4 “Blue Jay Way”, not sure what it is but I couldn’t get it to clean off. It doesn’t cause any skipping though. Cover is in very good shape other than some age related dirt. It has very light ring wear and some corner wear and edge wear. Includes the 24 page picture book. All sides are intact. Inner sleeve is generic white, although yellowed with age. The bottom and 1 side are starting to split.
We’re selling our collection of LPs that we’ve bought over the years. They hadn’t been played for over 20 years so we cleaned and listened to each one to be sure there are no skips when playing on our turntable, an Audio-Technica AT-LP60X-GM. I didn’t make notes on each one as I listened to it as far as any clicks, pops, etc. but I got rid of several that had too much noise or any skips. If you want me to go back and play an album and let you know of any surface noise, clicks, etc., please contact me and I will give you a full rundown prior to purchase.
