Description

Beatles - “Meet the Beatles” Mint Mono First Pressing LP - 1964 - Brown Print Mono
This is a beautiful near mint/mint mono pressing from Jan. 20, 1964 on the Capitol Label from the Scranton plant and has The Beatles printed in brown. First pressings were only printed in brown or tan, second pressings were later produced in dark green from an LA plant. There are four variations of this record overall, with this pressing being the first.
The number “2” is on the back bottom right corner and there is no George Martin credit on the back (this was added in later pressings)
Disc is excellent. I’d guess this copy has been played no more than one or two times; the playing surface and labels are extremely clean and without any significant defects. Jacket is like new and has a plastic protection sleeve.
