Description
In ALL my many, many years as a Beatle fan and collector, I have only run across one, AND ONLY ONE of these!!! Leading me to believe that this is either ONE of a very few in existence. OR, just possibly the: ONLY ONE IN THE WORLD!!!!?
It is a (or THE) STEREO "transitional label" Meet The Beatles album-with the BMI and ASCAP credits on the Side One label, and NO BMI and/or ASCAP credits on the Side Two label (see scans)!
As you know, the first pressings had no publishing credits listed on the record labels. After several pressings, this oversight was eventually corrected. HOWEVER, sometime/somehow, during that transition, THIS COPY WAS PRODUCED.
In addition, it is in FABULOUS SHAPE! From the playing quality of the record, and its labels-to the perfect original blue Capitol dust sleeve and even MORE PERFECT cover-still in the tight and complete original "shrink-wrap" with original price sticker on back (see all scans)!
This may be the ONLY time you will EVER see one of these, so BID WITH CONFIDENCE as you WILL NOT be disappointed!
When selling Beatle records, I try to be as up front and informative (via description and pics) as possible. If you require additional info about any albums, I am always available (during my auctions) to answer any and all email questions (and welcome them), so please feel free to contact me through this auction or at thatbeatlesguy@gmail.com. Be sure to thoroughly read all the copy and view all the photos before bidding. If I have failed to mention something important, I will be more than happy to give a full refund, including shipping fee, within 24 hours of receipt.
Buyer pays $10.00 for Priority Mail shipping including insurance. Payment through Paypal ONLY. Shipment within 24 hours of payment. SORRY, NO INTERNATIONAL SALES (U.S. ONLY).
