Hello to everyone in the mad world of ebay!

Over the next few weeks we will be auctioning off a number of very nice items to hep fund our Football Club. The items range from  rare records to some pottery.

Every penny that we raise will go to supporting the future of Foxhall Juniors

The first item we have for sale is:

Beatles Sgt Pepper Orginal Release purchased back in the 1960's. PMC 7027

Matrix Numbers:  Side 1 - XEX 637-1 3() MMH     Side 2 - XEX 638-1 3MMM

This is an original MONO copy that has the rare mispress on side 2 of  NO - A DAY IN THE LIFE

The gatefold sleeve is stunning and you would never know that it was purchased over 40 years ago. The parent that has donated this lovely item has said that on the day of release he purchased a Stereo and Mono copy, on getting home the Mono was played once and stored away until 2 weeks ago and was never every played again, as he was more interested in the new Stereo sound that was out.

I have taken the record to a locale record store and they have graded as follows:

Gatefold Sleeve - Beatiful condition (Near Mint)- Very very slight wear on the corner + just a couple of slight creases caused by storage over the years.

Red Inner Sleeve - MINT (As New) - Looks perfect, crisp and red and white

Cut Out Inner  MINT ( As New) - Untouched - Perfect

Record - Side 1 & 2 MINT

The record plays with a crisp clear sound with no pops, skips or jumps the run in and out are completely quiet and there is no unwanted noise anywhere. It truely is an amazing piece.

Apparently to come across Beatles records that are in Mint condition is rare (so i've been told) so this is an opportunity for all the collectors out there to have a chance to own an item that truely is in a genuine shop bought condition
