THE BEATLES
PLEASE PLEASE ME PMC 1202
1963 1st UK GOLD PARLOPHONE LABEL
DICK JAMES Mus CREDITS
MT TAX CODE
STAMPERS 1 GR AND 1GD
This is a really nice pressing of the highly sought after black and gold label 1st press Please Please me, This album is rare enough but in this condition it is really hard to get hold of, the Labels which normally have heavy wear are very good+++, still with the original shine and deep gold/black colour with only minor wear and the vinyl is the same, this thick heavy weight vinyl is very good+++ with a high gloss shine with only a handful of light marks.
With extremely early mothers this album must have been hot of the press very early in 1963 and would have been amongst the first few thousand pressed making this a must for any beatles collector.
Condition -
LABELS ~ VERY GOOD++ (very very minor spindle wear)
VINYL ~
(1)VERY GOOD+(some light marks none that effect play 1,GR stamps)
(2)VERY GOOD+(much the same as side1 but with one longer mark but this is faint and in no way effects play 1,GD stamps)
Most of the marks on the vinyl can only be seen when tilting the record in light,so they in no way detract from the apperance or the sound quality.
INNER EMITEX ~ EXCELLENT
SLEEVE ~ GOOD+ (front and spine are excellent though the flipbacks have residue of glue from tape)
As a bonus this comes with a second original gold mono please please me sleeve, again not in amazing shape but nice as a spare especially for free!
