1969 UK *MONO* PRESSING LP
**RARE FINAL Y&B LABEL**
This extremely rare 1969 UK mono pressing is on the final version of the yellow & black Parlophone label: PMC 1202
Both labels omit a 'Sold in UK..' text but carry 'Gramophone Co..' rims.
There is no tax/price code on either label.
Housed in its correct front laminated, tri-flipback 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed 'small' mono logo cover.
Complete with its original red & white EMI advertising inner-sleeve.
Matrix numbers: XEX 421-1 & XEX 422-2
Stamper numbers: 15/RHR & 6/RM

Bright, clean surfaces which retain their 'as new' deep gloss shines with no marks or scratches visible in daylight.
Careful inspection directly under a halogen desk lamp reveals just a few light inner sleeve removal marks/hairlines but no further wear.
100% flat both sides on the turntable with no dishing or warping.
Audio: EXCELLENT PLUS
This superb copy has received just a few careful plays on good quality equipment and no significant or major audible wear is detectable anywhere.
Just a hint of light wear on 'Twist & Shout' prevents a Near Mint grade, but apart from that, all songs play without fault.
Both run-ins & all bands play silently and without interference.
Cover: EXCELLENT
A clean & strong example retaining an undamaged, high-gloss front laminate which bears just a few small spine creases but no other significant wear.
Apart from a slight bruise to the upper left corner, all are clean & square. Both opening edges are clean & sharp with no tears or 'feathering'.
The rear panel is clean with just some light toning & a few faint handling marks towards the spine area, but no writing or missing paper.
The flipbacks, seams and the spine are all in clean, strong & unsplit.
