The Beatles - Please Please Me
(Parlophone PMC 1202 UK LP 1963)
This is a UK original 1963-64 UK LP pressing. Technically it ia a 5th UK pressing. It has a front laminated flipbacks sleeve (Garrod & Lofthouse). It has a large "Mono" on the front. It comes with its original polythene-lined "Emitex" company inner sleeve. This is in very nice condition.
The record has yellow & black Parlophone labels. They have "The Parlophone Co..." & "Recording First.." texts. "KT" is stamped around the spindle hole on Side 2's label.
The matrix numbers, & mother stampers, are as follows:
Side 1: XEX 421-1N (RDA 1 0)
Side 2: XEX 422-1N (RGL 1 4)
Sleeve: There is some mild fading to the rear, & some light rubbing wear at the sleeve opening. There is a tiny pen mark also. VG+ condition.
Vinyl: There are some mild sleeve rubs which can be seen under a strong light, and about four light hairline marks. VG+ condition. There is an initial on both labels. Otherwise mild to moderate spindle wear. Plays very well indeed. There is some very light crackle in some quieter places.
Grading adheres to “Record Collector” specifications. I shall use good quality packaging (proper vinyl mailers & two card dividers).
Postage for 1 LP in the UK is £4.50. You can add one extra LP for free (up to the weight of 1kg).
Postage for 1 LP in Europe is £6.50 to £7.75 (depending on weight). Add £1.25 for each additional LP up to 2kg.
Postage for 1 LP for the rest of the world is £7.75 to £11.25 (depending on weight). Add £2 for each additional LP up to 2kg.
Insurance is necessary if this item exceeds £30. Overseas buyers will add £5.50 extra (plus an additional £2.50 if the item value exceeds £70).
