Beatles Please Please Me Red & Silver 45-R 4983 7" Single 1963 Parlophone MZT Search

Hi there,

I have alot of memorabilia which I have collected over the years and shall therefore be listing them on Ebay for the foreseable future. This collection is vast and includes, but not limited to; Records, Promotional Film/music Posters/ Flyers, Pop/rock/TV magazines, Train Memorabilia and Diecast Vehicles. The vast majority of items are in great condition as I am extremely meticulous regarding the standard and storage of my collection. I shall have the oppinion that all of my auction items are required to be received by the purchaser in the same manner in which they were duely bought, so appropriate robust packaging shall be compulsory. I have collected records for many years and would like to offer you this Very Good example of the Beatles 2nd UK 7" Single  Please Please Me / Ask Me Why on the Red and Silver Parlophone record label which omits "Made in Gt. Britain" text. It has a catalogue number of 45-R 4983.

The 7" vinyl shows plenty of light hairlines with a few on both sides being graded as rubs / moderate scratches. The shine to the vinyl is good but with wear. I do not have a functional player at the minute but it played with some background noise previously but no skips or jumps I can recall.

The stamps around the run-off groove area show "MPT 3" at 9 o'clock, GO at 3 O'clock and 7XCE 17217-1N on Side 1 and "MPT 2" at 9 O'clock, GO at 3 O'clock and 7XCE 17218-1N at 6 O'clock.

The Red and Silver Parlophone label shows the Dick James Music Company Co. credits with Recording first published in 1963 to the left. The omission of "Made in Gt. Britain" on both sides with "MZT" embossed around the spindle hole defines this a a signature on both sides (from the lady who I bought it from many years ago). There are no other areas of major wear on the label with light fading only.

The sleeve has no tears or seam splits but does have some discolouration and light creasing.
