This superb NEAR MINT UK STEREO pressing dates from late Spring 1963 release and is on 3rd variation of the the yellow & black Parlophone label: PCS 3042

Both labels omit the 'Sold in UK..' text but include the 'Recording First Published..' text & 'Parlophone Co..' rims.

An 'MT' purchase tax code is visible around the centre of the side 1 label.

Matrix numbers: YEX 94-1 & YEX 95-1

Stamper codes: 1/GG & 1/M

Vinyl weight: 169g

Housed in a front laminated, tri-flipback 'Ernest J. Day' printed cover with a large front stereo indicator.

Complete with its original 'Use Emitex...' poly-lined inner-sleeve.

An immaculate set which bear just three faint spindle trails around each unworn centre hole.

Visual: NEAR MINT

Pristine deep-gloss playing surfaces which are MINT/'as new' in strong daylight. Even close and careful examination directly beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp reveals little more than a handful of harmless wispy inner-sleeve removal hairlines on side 1 only, but absolutely no other visual blemishes whatsoever. Both sides of this outstanding example lie 100% flat on the turntable when playing.

Play: NEAR MINT

Flawless sparkling clean, clear & warm stereo sound with not a trace of groove/play wear on any track or in either channel. Both run-ins and all bands play silently and there are no clicks, pops, ticks or any track of background interference anywhere on this unbeatable copy which will not require upgrading.

Cover: EXCELLENT +

An outstanding example of this fragile cover which retains an immaculate, unworn high-gloss front laminate which is completely free from any storage rubbing or even a single 'thumbnail' wrinkle. The only significant trace of wear on the entire cover are two small bumps to the right corners, but that really is it - even both opening edges are perfectly clean, sharp & totally unworn. The rear panel is overall clean & bright with just a trace of some aged fingerprints but certainly nothing significant and definitely no writing or missing paper. All of the delicate flipbacks are clean and fully intact and both seams are smooth, unstressed & unspilt. The spine is clean, white and fully worded making this example one of the best you could hope to find.

Inner-sleeve: EXCELLENT

Clean, flat & unworn with a just some light storage creasing to the lower corners, but no writing, tears or seam splits.
