THE BEATLES - ''PLEASE, PLEASE ME'
This EXCELLENT UK mono pressing was purchased 1966 and is on the black & yellow Parlophone label: PMC 1202
Both labels include the 'Sold in UK..' text with 'The Gramophone Co..' worded rim texts.
The 'KT' purchase tax code is visible in the cente of the side 2 label.
Matrix numbers: XEX 421-1N & XEX 422-2N
Stamper codes: 6/GH & 15/RHO
Disc weight: 139g
Housed in a front laminated, tri-flipback 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed cover with a small mono front indicator.
Complete with its original plain white 'Patents Applied For' inner-sleeve.

A superb unworn, clean & bright set with just a small handful of tiny light spindle trails to each centre hole.
Visual: EXCELLENT +
Extremely clean, bright & glossy playing surface which display no noticeable surface marks or wear in strong daylight and just a few barely visible wispy paper hairlines directly beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp. Both sides of this well-preserved copy lie 100% flat on the turntable when playing.
Sound Quality: EXCELLENT
This copy has received a minimal amount of careful play and plays without any significant deterioration to the sound quality or any major faults. My single play-check detected slight wear on 'Twist & Shout', but no clicks, pops or any other such distractions elsewhere.
Cover: EXCELLENT
A very strong and unworn example which retains a superb unscratched high-gloss front panel laminate which is free from any 'thumbnails' or any other creasing/wear. All corners are unworn and unbumped and both opening edges bear just a few tiny 'pushes' but no tears or feathering. The rear panel is clean, white and totally unblemished. however, there is some damage to the lower flipback, which I assume was from manufacture as there is also evidence of some dried glue on the edge of the right flipback. Both seams are smooth and unstressed and the spine is clean and completely unworn.
Inner-sleeve: EXCELLENT
Clean & flat with just the inevitable faint disc impression & slight age-toning, but no writing, tears or seam splits.
