Description
This could very well be one of the rarest Canadian Beatles 45's, perhaps even more rare than an original Love Me Do. It is an original pressing from April 1, 1963. While there is much controversy about which pressings of Love Me Do are from 1963, there is no mistaking originals on this title. Original pressings are verified by the B side publishing credit as Dick James Ltd. There were about 200 original copies pressed, and most of them were sent out to radio stations. Approximately 80 were actually sold at the retail level. This is one of those 80 copies, as there are no markings on the labels to indicate it is a radio copy. The record itself shows little wear, and retains most of it's original lustre. There are a few surface hairlines on the B side, so I have conservatively rated it at VG+, though it could very well be one of the nicest original copies in existence. The record comes complete with the correct glossy black Capitol stock sleeve.
