Beatles Revolver - Columbia label on side 2. Mispressed Parlophone label on Side 1.
Excellent condition.
Here is an extremely rare and much sought after Beatles anomaly!
It's a 4th pressing copy of 'Revolver', which was released in the late 70's I believe.
Due to an oversight during printing, and a lapse in quality control, a few (and I mean a tiny number) were sent out with different labels on each side of the record. Instead of the normal 'boxed EMI' Parlophone label, some had the export 'Columbia' label printed on them.
Of the ones that did escape, this is the much less common version, which has the normal Parlophone label on side one, but the Columbia export label on side two.
In addition, when I say 'normal' label on side one, this is not strictly true, as it is actually the 'mispressed' label that has the incorrect spelling for track 4. It says 'Love You Too' instead of 'Love You To'!
I have only ever seen three copies of this version.
So, given its relative scarcity, it's remarkable to find a copy in such good condition too. The vinyl is an easy Excellent. The only issues I can see with the vinyl are two minor 'stylus skate' marks on side two (one in the intro. Groove which does not encroach into track one, nor does it cause a click/pop - the other between track one and two of side two. Again, it does not cause a jump, pop or click).
The record plays through beautifully on both sides.
The labels are both clean and free from sticker residue and pen marks. Very minor spindle markings around the central holes.
The run-off markings are as follows: -
Side 1: YEX 605-3 HTM 1
Side 2: YEX 606-4 HTM 20 8 2
The inner sleeve is plain white paper with a polythene inner lining and is in excellent condition.
The record sleeve (which is not very rare and can easily be upgraded if desired) is in very good condition. It is intact, with no tears or writing. There is some sticker residue on the top right hand side at the front. There is also a small scuff on the front (under George Harrison's nose!). Overall, it's in pretty good shape!
This is a very rare thing that doesn't turn up for sale very often, so why not add it to your Beatles collection?

Overseas bidders please note that special delivery 'signed for' to your country is likely to be quite expensive (I.e. In excess of 10GBP), so please do not pay until I have informed you of the actual postage cost. I will send you an invoice first!
