On the black & yellow Parlophone label: PMC 7009
Both labels include the 'Sold in UK..' text & have 'Gramophone Co. Ltd..' rims.
The side 2 label carries the 'Doctor Robert' spelling.
The 'KT' tax/price code is visible in the centre of the side 1 label.
Housed in a front laminated, tri-flipback 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed mono cover.
Complete with its original white 'Patents Applied For' inner-sleeve.
Matrix numbers: XEX 605-2 & XEX 606-3
Stamper numbers: 5,2,12/RTO & 4/RHP

Labels: EXCELLENT
Clean & bright with some light spindle marks but no other signs of wear.
Visual: EXCELLENT +
This extremely well-looked after copy displays immaculate, unmarked, high-gloss surfaces in strong daylight, with no scuffs, marks or scratches. Close & careful inspection directly under my powerful halogen light reveals just a sparkling rainbow gloss shines and a few extremely faint wispy paper hairlines but no other marks or wear at all. Both sides lie 100% flat on the turntable with no signs of dishing or warping.
Play: EXCELLENT +
This copy has clearly received just very careful play on top-quality equipment. All tracks - even the delicate 'Eleanor Rigby' and 'Here, There & Everywhere' - play without any groovewear distortion or background noise. Neither did I hear any clicks, ticks or othersuch interference during my careful play check at volume. and plays throughout with no traces of any audible wear on or between any track.
Cover
EXCELLENT
A very clean & strong example with just some handling wear, but certainly no major faults. The front panel is bright and white with just a few small 'thumbnail' wrinkles but clean & undamaged corners. The rear panel is clean & back with no just slight wear to the opening edge but no ringwear, writing or missing paper. All flipbacks are fully intact and both seams & the spine are unstressed, unsplit & undamaged.
Inner-sleeve
EXCELLENT
Clean & white with just minor storagewear creasing but no splits or tears.
- Strict & grading under strong daylight & directly beneath a halogen desk lamp to UK 'RECORD COLLECTOR' standards.
- I carefully play every record I sell on a $5,000 Rega P9 turntable at volume and list all visual and audible faults.
- All the photos in this listing have been taken by myself and are of the actual items for sale.
- All records are professionally & securely in custom-made record mailing boxes with the disc removed from the cover.
