FIRST ISSUE WITH NEAR MINT VINYL, VERY NICE, TOTALLY COMPLETE EXAMPLE, WITH FLAME INNER, UNUSED CUT-OUT!!
This ATTRACTIVE all round example was released by Parlophone UK in 1967. The FIRST ISSUE UK Vinyl STEREO LP is on the traditional Black & Yellow Parlophone Label, with Gramophone Co Ltd label rim, With Sold in the UK…., and Made in Gt. Britain label text.
The album is protected in its ORIGINAL First Issue Laminated Garrod & Lofthouse Internal Flip back GATEFOLD Sleeve.
The Vinyl Disc comes in its ORIGINAL Flame Pink and White inner bag, together with an ORIGINAL and UNUSED Sgt Pepper Cut-Out.
The official Side 1 Matrix: YEX 637-1/ Side 2 Matrix: YEX 638-1. Side 1 stampers are 3/GDR. Side 2 stampers: 1/GGD. The embossed 'KT' tax code is visible to the centre of the Side 1 record label.
The Side 1 Record Label is in FINE near mint condition, UNDAMAGED, with no more than a few short, barely visible, faint spider trails. Side 2 record label is excellent plus, showing a few more light spider trails than side 1. Both sides of the Vinyl Disc are in SUPERB near mint condition - the Vinyl GLEAMS like NEW, barely played, with a few, very faint, wispy hairlines, but NO scuffs or deep scratches to either side. The front and reverse of the Original First Issue LAMINATED Garrod & Lofthouse Gatefold sleeve are FIRM and CLEAN, and in STRONG excellent condition. The Laminate is Ultra GLOSSY. All round this is a VERY NICE, FIRM sleeve. There is a small crease to the top left hand corner of the sleeve and very mild corner bruising to the other corners. The inside of the Gatefold Sleeve is in excellent plus. The Sgt Pepper Cut-Out is in UNDAMAGED mint condition. The Flame Coloured Inner Bag is in excellent condition, NO tearing, handwriting or seam splits and only mild, inevitable, creasing.
The Play quality matches that of the Visual Grading. Both sides play SUPERBLY through all the Tracks, a STRONG and POWERFUL Stereo sound, with NO skips or clicks.
