DO NOT UNDERESTIMATE THE GRAMOPHONE 2 BOXER...LITERALLY AMAZING.
BANG FOR BUCK - UNBEATABLE...!
THIS MIGHT SOUND TOTALLY CRAZY......BUT THIS COPY IS ONE OF THE BEST COPIES FOR AUDIO I HAVE EVER WITNESSED. AND I INCLUDE ALL VINTAGES IN THIS CLAIM...so that means...it is pretty dang good.
An original 1972 heavy-set 'Gramophone' original. The vinyl comes housed in an original gatefold cover. We have the original inner too and CUT-OUTS. So 100% complete and 100% genuine.
Vinyl (Ex+) In great condition and has only seen lightest use. SUPER LUSTRE. UNBLOODYBELEIVABLE for audio...Under close inspection I could only make out a couple of slightest marks per side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT+ level of playback. WITHOUT RESERVATION. A really decent player and plays perfectly clean throughout. DO NOT UNDERESTIMATE AN EARLY TWO BOXER....the audio is absolutely unbelievable.... Basically a top level rendition which you'd have a hard time equalling. A copy like this can really deal with what, at times, is some pretty highly dynamic sounds. Lovely original player - bang for buck it is scoring highly...Clean as anything in those slow build moments. WHY ON EARTH WOULD YOU BUY A REISSUE? YOU WOULD HAVE TO BE INSANE...A copy like this will beat ALL COMERS....easily. just listen to WIWY or WI64 on a copy like this...and you will understand very quickly...how darn good a copy like this is.
Cover (Ex) A very smart looking cover - many are going to be looking a bit beleaguered after 50 years use. But this one seems to have avoided  the ageing process.  Very clean and flat with hardly a crease.  A couple of tiny pinpricks in the interior which is otherwise --- PERFECT! Minimal edge wear and sharp firm openings. The spine is 95% intact. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Vg+) light ageing.
Cut-Outs (Ex) perfect.
