Description

If you're looking for perfection in audio and cover...maybe consider this copy? The tube-cut Emi two box copies from the early seventies really sound fab - particularly if you can find a sparingly played copy. Matrix 2/2. Note the perimeter label text still mentions 'Gramophone'. The two flip-back cover and the record label place this copy around Autumn 1971. And preservation levels are superb! We also have the original sepia inner sleeve. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex+) An absolute beaut and has clearly seen the lightest use. Under close inspection I couldn't make out more than a couple of minuscule marks per side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT+ level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are perfectly quiet and the audio comes across with superb clarity. If you need transparency and to hear deep into the mix without hearing any background - this could be the copy for you. Interference is pretty much non-existent. I'll do my usual caveat - you might detect a couple of crackles in a couple of isolated moments per side. But believe me... you'd have to go some to even match this level of preservation.
Cover (Ex/Ex+) A lovely looking specimen with a shiny uncreased front and a rear totally free from ageing. There's practically no edge wear and the openings are still sharp. The spine is 100% intact. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity. Sweet!
Inner (Vg+) Lightest ageing. No splits.
