Disc

Labels: EXCELLENT

A clean & bright pair with a small collection of light, well-aimed spindle trails around each centre hole.

Visual: NEAR MINT

Immaculate deep-gloss playing surfaces which factory-fresh & totally unmarked when viewed strong daylight. Even close inspection directly beneath my powerful and unforgiving halogen desk lamp fails to reveal anything more than a handful of harmless wispy paper hairlines from the inner-sleeve which I really struggled to see & a sparkling rainbow shine. Both sides of this pristine disc lie 100% flat on the turntable when playing.

Sound Quality: NEAR MINT

This wonderful sounding copy has received some extremely careful play on high-end equipment and as a result the sound quality is flawless throughout. My single careful play-check at volume detected absolutely no trace of any groove/playwear on any track or either channel - even on the easily worn 'She's Leaving Home'. In fact the only factor preventing a straight 'MINT' grading would be some light, low-level vinyl background on the long fade-out of 'Day In the Life'. There are certainly no clicks, pops or any other audible distractions to spoil a wonderful listening experience.

Cover: EXCELLENT +

A fine example of this iconic cover has been carefully stored and barely touch in the past 45 years and as a result retains all of its vibrancy and high-gloss laminate inside & out.

The front panel is perfectly clean with just a single indentation line from storage but no storage rubbing, ringwear or even a single immaculate 'thumbnail' wrinkle. There are tiny bruises to the upper corners but the lower tow are sharp and unworn as are of the opening edges. The rear panel is as clean & glossy as the front, again with no 'thumbnails' or storagewear. The seams of both pockets are smooth & unstressed with no missing or flaking laminate.

The inside of the gatefold is immaculate and as it was when it left the factory.

The spine is clean, white & fully laminated along its entire length with a perfect unworn text.

Inner-sleeve: EXCELLENT

Clean & flat with a few gentle storage wrinkles & light disc impression but no writing, tears or seam splits.

Cut-out sheet: NEAR MINT
