Description
Another valuable record from The Fab Four is a very special version of The White Album. It is nearly impossible to find a White Album under 10,000, let alone one in this condition. This is THE BEATLES WHITE ALBUM YOU'VE BEEN WAITING FOR.
Extremely Rare #0008373 (Out of over 3,200,000)
This First Pressing from 1968 features the 7 Label Errors that purportedly only made it on to the first 100,000 copies before being noticed and corrected. They are as follows:
1. "Bungalow Bill" (side 1) later corrected to read "The Continuing Story of Bungalow Bill"
2. "Obladi Oblada" (side 1) is not Hypenated; later corrected to read"Ob-la-di Ob-la-da"
3. "Rocky Racoon" (side 2) There is a "C" missing in Raccoon. This is considered an original error even though the spelling was not corrected until the 1990s.
4. "Goodnight" (side 3) is spelled as one word, later corrected to read "Good Night"
5. "Revolution No. 1" (side 3), later corrected to "Revolution 1"
6. "Revolution No. 9" (side 3), later corrected to "Revolution 9"
7. "Why Don't We Do It In The Road (no question mark) (side 2), later corrected to "Why Don't We Do It In the Road?" This is said to be the rarest error of the 7.

Please refer to the above photos before bidding. What you see is what you get. As you can see, the records are in excellent condition, still glossy with absolutely no writing or stickers on the labels. This record just turned 51 years old on November 22, 2019, so it is a miracle that there are only minor imperfections, with NO RING WEAR whatsoever. There is some wearing on the inner spine (see photo).
All ORIGINAL inserts are included and unblemished. You get the still glossy poster comprising a montage of photographs, with the lyrics of the songs on the back, and a beautiful set of the ORIGINAL four photographic portraits taken by John Kelly during the autumn of 1968.
This album comes from a non-smoking household.
