CONDITION

Labels

Disc 1: EXCELLENT + Disc 2: NEAR MINT

All are clean & bright with a handful of light light spindle trails around disc 1's centre holes and only two on each on disc 2.

Visual:

Disc 1: EXCELLENT Disc 2: NEAR MINT

Both sides are extremely clean and bear no significant or major visual faults or wear. Disc 1 bears some light hairlines and a few small marks consistent with removal from the unforgiving black inners, but nothing which affects sound or play. Disc 2 has been played less and consequently is free from any noticeable blemishes or wear in strong daylight and just the unavoidable inner-sleeve storage marks on side 4. Both discs of this well looked-after set lie 100% flat on the turntable when playing.

Sound Quality: Disc 1: EXCELLENT Disc 2: NEAR MINT

Disc 1 has received just a small number of plays on good quality equipment and happily all tracks play cleanly & clearly with no trace of any groove/playwear distortion. My playcheck detected just a trace of background in some of side 1's quieter passages but the exposed introduction to 'Martha My Dear' and the easily worn 'Blackbird', as well as everything else on side 2 played without fault. Disc 2 plays and sounds flawless with no trace of any background interference or indeed any other distraction. Both discs are free from any clicks, pops, jumps, repeats or any other such fault and add up to an extremely respectable sounding copy.

Cover: EXCELLENT -

A respectable example of this timeless cover which although slightly yellowed with age is clean & firm and without any significant or major wear. There is some light storagewear to both front & rear panels but both retain all of their high-gloss laminate which is fully intact over the raised front panel wording and the number is clean, bold & unworn. There is some minor shelfwear to the lower corners but the upper two and in nice shape and there is no tears or feathering to any of the top-opening edges.

There is a single 'thumbnail' crease on each panel inside the gatefold but they both are otherwise unworn.

The spine's laminate has split in a few places but is unbent and both sets of wording are covered and readable. Finally, both upper & lower seams of both pockets are smooth unstresed and unsplit.

Photos: MINT

All are 'as new'.

Photo Protector: EXCELLENT

Poster: NEAR MINT

Factory-folded & unhung.

Inner-sleeves: EXCELLENT

Both are clean & flat with just a little wear along the upper edge of one. Both centre windows are undamaged and there are no splits to any of the seams.
