"The Beatles" White Album
Not only the original First Press of this Double LP issued in 1968.
BUT ALSO
1) the even rarer MONO version
2) First mother pressings on the vinyl.
3)"an emi recording" is missing from the label on the vinyl - this indicates an extremely early copy of the first pressing, consistent also with the first mother press numbers.
4) Widespine cover.

LPs
*Original 1st pressing from 1968
* "Sold in UK subject to..." printed on top of all LP labels (first press).
* Dark green Apple label
* Label number PMC 7067 and PMC 7068 ie MONO
* First mother pressings (sides 3 and 4).
* Mother/stamper stamps in the black vinyl are 1GH, 1GL, 6GGL and 7GMM
* "An emi recording...." is missing from the left of the spindle hole (side 3 and 4) this indicates an extremely early copy of the first pressing
* First matrix numbers on all sides ie XEX709-1, 710-1, 711-1, 712-1
* All tracks of all sides have been played, listened to, and play graded. Play gradings were EX , EX , EX- , and VG++ Detailed visual and play notes are at the foot of the page.
Outer Sleeve
* An outstanding of a well-preserved original MONO sleeve
* Number stamped on the front of the cover 0624056 .
* "The Beatles" embossed in the laminate on front cover.
* MONO cover - No writing of any kind on the back.
* Excellent+++ condition.
* Immaculate spine, including all the laminate intact and undamaged !!
* Widespine. I measure it at 8-9mm thick.
* A nice white colour, showing only very slight colour ageing.
* Completely intact, with no tears and no writing, and no significant creases in the laminate. Just a few faint rubs on the opening edge.
Poster
* Original lyrics poster.
* Made by Garrod and Lofthouse, correctly identified as such on the back/bottom right corner.
* Rated as Excellent++
* Completely intact, no tears, no damage, no writing, no pinholes.
* No seam splits and no noticeable wear on the seams.
Black Inner Sleeves
* Original black Apple sleeves with
matt black paper (with the hole diecut on just 1 side.)
* Excellent ++ condition.
* Sleeve 1 is completely intact, no tears, no damage, no writing; just a few creases in the paper. Sleeve 2 is also completely intact, no writing, no damage, no seamsplits, but has a tear on the centre hole.
* No seamsplit in either inner sleeve.
Photos
*Comes complete with 4 photos, one of each Beatle.
* Excellent+ condition with no damage, no tears, no writing, no pin-holes.
LP -Visual and Play
All 4 sides of the LPs have been not only visually examined, but also played on a quality deck and carefully listened to all the way through all tracks on all sides.
Disc2, side 3 -no "emi recording.." on label - Visually graded Excellent EX, no scratches, a few small scuffs on track1, very few spindle marks on label. Play graded EX, no hops, no jumps, no sticks, no ticks or clicks or other loud noises. The only thing I noticed was in the quiet start to track3 Country Boy where there were a few quiet background noises.
Disc2 side 4 - no emi recording on label - Visually graded EX- no scratches but some light superficial marks in strong light. Play graded EX. As before no hops/jumps/sticks/ticks on any track a little light background noise at the start of Honey Pie and two clicks in Revolution 9.
Disc1 side1 - emi recording on label. In normal light no scratches, one light scuff mark with no effect on sound In strong light some light rubbing on the surface in a few places. Visually graded VG++ Play grading EX- Play throughout was perfect except a few quiet clicks at the end of track Prudence
Disc1 side 2 very similar to previous side, some light superficial marks on the vinyl which have no effect on play. Play graded VG++ at least no hops/jumps/sticks/ticks or other loud noises. Just a hint of background noise in some of the quiet gaps
95 minutes of wonderful MONO sound, The MONO mix, which was done by the Beatles themsleves, has quite a number of small differences from the stereo mix done by the Apple engineers. Details available on request.
