Description
Beatles "With The Beatles" 1st press Uk LP stereo Mint.Uk Parlophone LP black and yelllow label 1963 PCS 3045 so hard to find these early stereo Lp's in nice condition hardly any were sold in the early 60'sprobably accounting for less than 5% of total sales. This is the original 1st pressing with parlophone Co on the rim and Jobete credit for the track money all later pressings had this amended to Dominion Belinda, also on side 2 has the missprint You Really Gotta A Hold On Me.Side 1 has the MT tax stamp making this a very early pressing.
Side 1 matrix is YEX 110-2 RP stampers and number 2 at 9 oclock.
Side 2 matrix is YEX 111-2 GL stampers and number 3 at 9 oclock.
Disc comes housed in original Emitex lined inner sleeve.Outer sleeve is the rarer E.J Day sleeve which has several differences to the more common Garrod & Lofthouse the front of the sleeve the black group picture is lot nearer the opening edge only approx 2mm away, has large stereo on front, larger flipbacks, the front picture is also slightly darker and more grainier than later issues.
Condition labels are perfect with one or maybe two spindle marks only, the vinyl is in amazing conditionim guessing this LP has at most 2 plays still has all its original sheen under the brightest light just a couple of sleeve removal hairlines and this is been very critical vinyl graded as near mint.
Sleeve is very nice indeed there are some lamination creases to the front and a couple of half moon creases, the rear sleeve is super clean with just the tiniest yesllowing ,flipbacks, seams and spine are all intact sleeve is graded as Ex,Emitex inner is near mint no splits tears etc. Please check my other auctions for more Early Beatles stereo Lp's.
