Description

THE BEATLES - 'WITH THE BEATLES'

This outstanding UK 1st STEREO pressing dates from initial November 1963 release on the black & yellow Parlophone label: PCS 3045

Both labels omit the 'Sold in UK....' text but have 'The Parlophone Co. Ltd...' worded rims.

The side 2 label includes 'Jobete Mus NCB.' credit for the song 'Money'.

There is no purchase tax code present in the centre of either label.

Matrix numbers: YEX 110-2 & YEX 111-2

Stamper codes: 3/GO & 1/AA BUT VERY DIFFICULT TO READ AS NO MAGNIFYING  GLASS BEFORE LISTING

Vinyl weight: 147g

Housed in a front laminated, tri-flipback 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed cover with the initial 'darker' front image.

Like the side 2 label, the rear track-listing bears the incorrect 'You Really Gotta Hold On Me' spelling for track 3 on side 2.

Complete with its original MINT  poly-lined 'Use Emitex...' inner-sleeve.

CONDITION

Disc

Labels: NEAR MINT

An immaculate pair with no more than 3/4 faint spindle trails around each completely slightly worn centre hole.

Visual:EXCELLENT

Pristine, factory-fresh playing surfaces which  shine 'as new' in strong daylight. Even close examination beneath my unforgiving halogen desk lamp reveals a few faintest hairlines marks, together with a sparkling rainbow shine. Both sides of this unbeatable disc lie 100% flat on the turntable & will not require upgrading.

Sound Quality: NOT GRADED DUE TO NOT WANTNG TO DAMAGE BEFORE SELLING

Cover: EXCELLENT +

A truly exceptional example of this iconic cover which belies its 52 years.

The front panel is virtually clean and retains a  high-gloss laminate with only a slight creasing at bottom left hand corner

There are  few tiny spine wrinkles on the front . There is a touch of wear to the front opening edge but no tears to either side.

The rear panel displays very slight age-toning  but no writing or missing paper anywhere. all in all a very clean copy

All flipbacks are fully intact and undamaged & the spine is clean, uncrushed & fully worded.

Inner-sleeve: MINT

This item is located in and will be shipped from UK. Priority signed for  postage to UK addresses will be 7 GBP**
