Description
THE BEATLES - 'YELLOW SUBMARINE'
This EXCELLENT UK 1st STEREO pressing dates from the album's initial January 1969 release and is on the dark green Apple Records label: PCS 7070
Both labels carry the 'Sold in UK..' text with no purchase tax code is visible around the centre of either label.
Matrix numbers: YEX 915-1 & YEX 916-1
Stamper codes: 2,4/RG & 3/MM
Vinyl weight: 144g
Housed in a front laminated, tri-flipback 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed stereo cover.
Complete with its original plain white 'Patent No.1,125,555' inner-sleeve.

Labels: EXCELLENT
Clean & unblemished with just a touch of wear around the side 1 centre hole, but no noticeable spindle trails either side.
Visual: EXCELLENT
Both playing surface are extremely clean and retain all of their 'as new' deep gloss shine with just one or two light surface marks per side in strong daylight, but nothing I would call a scratch. Closer inspection directly beneath my powerful and unforgiving halogen desk lamp reveals some wispy inner-sleeve removal paper hairlines but no further significant visual blemishes or wear.
Sound Quality: EXCELLENT
This very respectable copy has received minimal careful play on good equipment and my single careful play-check at volume detected no groove/play wear on any track or any heavy clicks, pops or other such distractions. In fact, apart from a touch of light background on some of the quieter passages, there is little of any significance to fault on this extremely listenable copy.
Cover: EXCELLENT -
A clean, strong and unworn example which retains a vivid & vibrant glossy front laminate bearing just two tiny 'thumbnail' wrinkles. There is slight bruising to the left corners but no significant wear to either opening edge. The rear panel is clean & bright with some faint handling marks but and there is a 2cm stress to the upper seam. All flipbacks are clean & intact and the spine is unworn & fully worded.
Inner-sleeve: EXCELLENT +
Clean & flat with no tears, writing or seam splits.
