THE BEATLES - 'YELLOW SUBMARINE'
This EXCELLENT UK 1st STEREO pressing dates from initial January 1969 release on the dark green Apple Records label: PCS 7070
Both labels include the 'Sold in UK....' text & have 'Apple Records..' worded rims
Matrix numbers: YEX 715-1 & YEX 716-1
Stamper codes: 2/RL & 3/RP
Vinyl weight: 145g
Housed in an early-type front laminated, tri-flipback 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed cover without the printer's credit on the lower flipback
Complete with its original die-cut, matt-black inner-sleeve.

A clean & richly colored pair with nothing more than a handful of light spindle trails around each unworn centre hole.
Visual: EXCELLENT -
Both playing surface are clean and retain all of their factory shine and are free from any grove-whitening or clouding. There are several hairlines visible on each side in strong daylight but nothing deep or 'feelable' beneath my fingertips. Close inspection highlights there faint blemishes and adds a few more together wish a sparkling rainbow shine.
Sound Quality: EXCELLENT
This copy has received little play and all tracks are unworn and free from any groove/playwear distortion. My careful play-check detected an occasional light tick between tracks and a few during the orchestral suite, certainly no jumps, repeats or any other major audible distraction on this respectable early copy.
Cover: EXCELLENT +
The front panels of these early covers were prone to yellowing, this was somehow eliminated on later covers. However, besides that, this early example is clean & unworn and retains a pristine, unscratched & unworn high-gloss front laminate free from any 'thumbnails' or even a single spine bend.
All corners are in fine shape and are without any heavy bumps or bruising & both opening edges appear untouched. The easily marked rear panel is clean & unmarked with no writing, missing paper or any other significant blemishes. All flipbacks are fully intact and unworn and both seams are smooth, unstressed & unsplit.
The spine is clean, unbent & fully worded.
Inner-sleeve: EXCELLENT +
Clean & flat with no creasing, tears or seam splits.
